Starting December 2, 2024, if you are required to submit Form I-693 or even a partial Form I-693, it has to be filed along with Form I-485.Previously, you could file Form I-485 and then file Form I-693 before you adjustment of status appointment or you could file Form I-485, wait for a Request For Evidence requesting Form I-693 and submit it at that point. However, these options are no longer available. Therefore, when completing and gathering the documentation required for adjustment of status, make sure to complete your medical examination for your Form I-693 and submit it with your I-485 filing or your petition may be rejected.
